New York Business Journal

As Mayor Eric Adams has prioritized life sciences in his Blueprint for Economic Recovery, many are having conversations surrounding what development of a life science ecosystem in New York City would look like.

Most recently, a $20 million center for sustainability-focused biotech was announced to come to the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Among the partners behind the hub is the Partnership Fund for New York City, an organization that has invested more than $50 million to support the growth of commercial life sciences in the city.

Maria Gotsch, president and CEO of the Partnership Fund, spoke with the New York Business Journal on funding life sciences in New York City.
